This holiday house, a former Portuguese farmhouse, located 7km inland from Lagos. The property lies in a quiet rural location. The living area consists of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen/dining room and living room with fireplace.
A terrace door from the living room leads to the main terrace (covered) with barbecue and the private pool. The pool area is surrounded by Avocado trees and grapevines on one side and enjoying spectacular views of the Monchique Mountains on the other.
The significant part of the garden is cultivated by the owners, who live in an adjacent apartment (separated from the main house). It's a lovely couple with their three small dogs (which are very friendly, well educated and do no harm at all, will be put away if guests are afraid of dogs) and cat.
They have created an original Algarve "horta" with fruit trees and Almond, Olive and a variety of citrus, and all kind of herbs.
It's a beautiful and inexpensive holiday home for families with children, as there is no passing traffic and natural surrounding for children to explore or for guests who just want to relax and enjoy tranquillity.
Within a few minutes drive, you reach various beaches, or you can visit the charming town Lagos with its historical centre and its wide range of shops, restaurants, bars and animation. Car hire recommend.
